Dinoroar Interactive announce Samurai Training

Dinoroar Interactive, creators of the iPhone/iPod game Memory Loss, have just released a teaser trailer for their second game for the mobile platform called Samurai Training. The new title will be released for both the iOS platform and Android, and is slated for release in autumn 2011 with an aim to release it by the end of March. Read more…

An Interview with Tom Killen of The Voxel Agents

Drop Bear Gaming recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Tom Killen of The Voxel Agents, the makers of the award winning Train Conductor series. Tom was one of the coordinating team behind the 2011 IGDA Melbourne Global Game Jam. We asked Tom a few questions about the event and what it takes to make one of the years most successful Jams.

Australian Price Point and Release Date Confirmed for Nintendo 3DS

Nintendo Australia have presented a press conference this evening in Sydney to announce the official price point and release date of the new 3DS handheld. As expected the release date is set at March 31st, the unit will be available in either blue or black, and the initial price point will be $349.95. Read more…

Firemint’s Real Racing 2 Update and Price Cut!

Melbourne game studio Firemint are in our headlines yet again and this time it’s because they’ve released the v1.0.2 update for Real Racing 2 on the iPod Touch and iPhone. In this latest version they have added not only 6 all-new events, but they have also implemented multiplayer leaderboards and rankings, so all you racing buffs can face up against each other. Sony have released this video giving us a taste of some of the games that are going to be released for the NGP. In the video you will see a number of the launch titles including Uncharted, Killzone, Resistance, LittleBigPlanet as well as many more. Sony’s Next Generation Portable
