Susie’s PAX Diary – Day One

PAX Australia, as known as the Penny Arcade Exhibition, finally hit Down Under on Friday July 19th, 2013, in not so sunny Melbourne.  Filled with exhibitors, Q&A panels, demonstrations, and anything you can think of that is gaming and anime related.  For us proud nerds and gamers alike, it is almost like Christmas in July.  I was lucky enough to attend for DBG as media, alongside our own Matt, and got to prod, play, and chat with attendees and exhibitors.

The second annual EB Expo came and went over the weekend just past and it most definitely lived up to EB Games’ hype about being bigger and better than the inaugural show last year. With attendance counting in the thousands higher than last year and the duration increased to three days instead of just two it was definitely a lot busier, and the atmosphere from the punters had the venue buzzing with excitement throughout the entire event.
