Up until the Sunday session at the 2011 EB Expo I could safely say that it had literally NEVER occurred to me that I should buy a 3DS. I’m going to be completely honest here, after my initial experience with the 3DS when it was launched I had pretty much written it off as a failure. Price drop? Not interested. Ocarina of Time 3D? When I was a child I had one of those little plastic mazes that you tilted around in order to get the little ball bearing in the hole. It was small, simple, and a game that I loved. Mercury Hg has rekindled those wonderful old memories. But that wasn’t the only game I used to play, for I remember, staying up late at night, searching for those level answers.

In this episode Matt is taking a well earned break after launching the new web site. In his absence Lucas and Susie discuss the games that have been taking up there time. Battlefield 3 beta get’s discussed with the highs and lows, covered from a fans perspective and from a new comer of the multiplayer side of the franchise. They then discuss the games that are coming out before Christmas and what they are looking forward to most. To end the show a cap of the games that will be playable at the EB Expo this week-end and lastly, Lucas ends the show with an appeal for help on behalf of the sick kids of Australia.

EB Games Expo is only just around the corner and as promised you can expect to have your socks blown off. As per the recent press release EB is blowing their horn and have labeled the event the ‘biggest video games event Australia has ever seen’. With the EB Games Expo a mere 4 sleeps away I’ve decided to follow the old saying that being prepared is half the victory. And I’m rest enough thanks to my foam mattress, which I got at a black friday mattress sale. I totally recommend it, since I got it I feel better and full of energy. You should get one for you too.
