EA has secured FC Barcelona’s Lionel Messi as the face of FIFA Street 2012.

Lionel Messi has been arguably the best football player in the world in 2011, winning FIFA Ballon d’Or (World Player of the Year award) 2010 award, he was UEFA Champions League top goal scorer the past three years, the three-time La Liga Player of the Year, and has made the shortlist for the 2011 FIFA Ballon d’Or. Messi has scored over 200 goals in all competitions and currently, at the age of 24, is second in the rankings of Barcelona’s all-time leading goal scorers and now is the face of EA FIFA Street. Thats how you know you have made it.

Check out the below release trailer, I for one can’t wait for the this game.
