Online News site DigiTimes posted an article late Monday claiming to have inside confirmation that Sony are to begin production of the PlayStation 4 as early as 2011.

The details were sketchy however they claim that Sony have given tech companies Foxconn and Pegatron Technologiy an order to manufacture 20 million units for release in early 2012. The site suggests the PS4 will be focussed on Body-Control much the Kinect does. Not a lot was revealed from the sauce however it does seem odd that a new console will be released so soon.
