The Supanova pop culture expo is rolling into Brisbane this weekend bringing all the anime, sci-fi, comics and more that you could want. With a plethora of special celebrity guests, tournaments, booths, and other great things to see and do, it is definitely worth checking out.

Every year Supanova is held in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth, providing a place for fans to come face to face with some of their favourite actors, authors, and artists, as well as participate in collectible card game tournaments, competitions, and much much more. If you like sci-fi, comics, anime or anything like that then make sure you get there this year!

Supanova also has gaming stuff for you to see including the Duke Nukem Forever demo playable, as well as displays for 2K Games, and Ubisoft. You could also get involved in a laser tag game, or even throw on some cosplay and join the festivities. There is going to be heaps of stuff to see and do, and it’s definitely worth the low price tag.

Both Lucas and I will be there this weekend checking it out so be sure to keep checking the site and listening to the podcast for our thoughts about the event, including our impressions of the Duke Nukem demo.

Tickets are still available for the Brisbane show starting at $23.90 for day passes, or $49.50 for a weekend pass. Check out Supanova’s official site, or Ticketek for more details and to find out pricing for other cities.
