E3 2018 – PlayStation Press Conference

The award for most bizarre E3 press conference of the year goes to PlayStation! Yes I know, Nintendo haven’t done theirs yet but I think PlayStation have taken the cake already. Detroit: Become Human (PS4)
Another visually stunning Quantic Dream game with all the usual stuff that comes with that. Slightly finicky controls hold this game back a little, but a really well crafted story and world with meaningful game-defining decisions and superb voice acting make it a must play game.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (PS4)
Hits the usual beats of an Uncharted game which while not new, are still great to experience. The dialogue between Chloe and Nadine and the story overall was really well written. Naughty Dog have proven that they can make a solid Uncharted game without Nathan Drake.

Review – Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition

In the last couple of years of the PS3 and Xbox 360, for better or worse, HD remakes were storming the gaming marketplace. It’s December 31st once again, and of course that means it’s time to look back on the year. 2013 has been a huge year for gaming in Australia and given that it is about to end, I thought I’d do some reminiscing about the more influential and controversial moments of the year. Read more…

We are working to rectify this but to make up for not really covering anything this year I’ve decided to give a run down on what big news has been happening in the gaming world in no particular order. Destiny 2 (PS4)
Despite having so many similarities to Destiny 1 this game has enough new features to entice old players to get on board. It's definitely just as fun as the original and a great multiplayer experience to enjoy with friends.
