Xbox One Lost The Battle, Has Playstation 4 Won The War?

Over the past twenty four hours or so, I have seen increasing numbers of tweets, Facebook updates, memes and articles showing a growth spurt in supporting the Playstation 4 being the next gen console of choice – even from folks I have  known to be the Xbox faithful’s in my inner gaming circle.  While I am all for the preferential choice of platforms, and have tried to maintain neutrality between the two choices, I am wondering if I will be the only one with an Xbox One.

Xbox One And A New Generation

It’s 4:30am and Microsoft’s reveal of their new system “Xbox One” finished not too long ago. While I sit here letting the tidal wave that is Twitter flood in front of my eyes I find myself still just as clueless about how the next generation is going to play out as I was when I went to bed last night.

EBX 2012

The second annual EB Expo came and went over the weekend just past and it most definitely lived up to EB Games’ hype about being bigger and better than the inaugural show last year. With attendance counting in the thousands higher than last year and the duration increased to three days instead of just two it was definitely a lot busier, and the atmosphere from the punters had the venue buzzing with excitement throughout the entire event.
